As reported by the defense department, the launch was made from the waters of the White Sea to the Kura missile range (the test range of the Space Forces of the VKS of Russia - ed. note www1.ru) in Kamchatka. It is noted that the shooting went in a regular mode. Based on the results, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will decide on the acceptance of the submarine into the composition of the Russian Navy.

The cruiser 'Emperor Alexander III' was assembled at the AO 'PO 'Sevmash' enterprise in Severodvinsk as a part of the 'Borei-A' project. It carries torpedoes and 16 'Bulava' missiles.
