It is noted that the first three devices, which are manufactured at the Ramenskoye Instrument Making Plant (RPZ), will be delivered to the customer by the end of 2023. Another 12 RMIs will be sent in 2024.

The indicators help the pilot to determine the position of the aircraft relative to the radio beacons. RMI-3 can be used as backup equipment. In addition to the production of indicators, RPZ specialists will also be responsible for their warranty service.

According to the managing director of the plant, Alexei Drozdov, this is a priority area for the enterprise against the background of a sharp increase in demand for equipment, which has arisen as a result of a multiple increase in the production volumes of Russian aircraft.

In Russia, MS-21 and SJ-100 aircraft are considered promising for civil aviation. Due to sanctions pressure from the West, the Belarusian Belavia is interested in purchasing these aircraft. Russian developers are now trying to localize the production of components as much as possible to avoid dependence on foreign suppliers.
