The employees of the car factory "Moskvich" have prepared the body painting shop for the start of small assembly, which will start in 2024. Tests have confirmed the quality of the work performed.

As explained by the company's press service, "Moskvich" chose local suppliers of paint and varnish materials (we are talking about a range of five colors for "Moskvich 3" and "Moskvich 3e"). Adjusters of automatic equipment have developed new body movement trajectories, as well as robots, so that the coating is applied evenly.

It is noted that the factory also wants to paint most of the plastic parts of the cars produced. From the second quarter of next year, "Moskvich 3" and "Moskvich 3e" models will be manufactured using small assembly method. This will help increase the localization level of production. Now "Moskvich" has switched to Russian technical fluids and accessories for cars.

Earlier in the management of "Moskvich" named the main condition for reducing prices. According to the commercial director Alexander Migal, with an adequate level of localization, the brand will cease to depend on exchange rate fluctuations, prices will stabilize.
