Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolay Chub successfully completed a long spacewalk. The work was broadcasted online on Roskosmos' social networks.
In 7 hours 41 minutes, the cosmonauts inspected and photographed the place of recent accident on the Russian module 'Nauka', disconnected the extra heat exchanger from the external thermal control contours of the module
They also removed the radar for observing the Earth's surface from 'Poisk', connected it to the adapter and mounted it on the passive fixation device UFP-2 on 'Science'.
After this, Chub and Kononenko ceremoniously launched the student nano-satellite 'Parus-MSTU'.
All tasks were performed without incidents. Kononenko and Chub became the first dwellers of ISS to go for a spacewalk after the accident at 'Nauka'. The coolant leak from the outer radiator circuit and the investigation into the causes of the accident forced the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to prohibit astronauts from spacewalks until the end of the year.
