Currently, the plant's engineers need to focus on maximizing the localization of units and components, he believes. Lukashenko stated this during a meeting with young people at the Palace of Independence in Minsk.
The discussion revolves around the in-house production of engines and gearboxes. According to the Belarusian leader, this is not an easy task and will require a certain amount of time to complete. In addition, a body stamping shop is planned to open at the plant in Zhodino.
