Now the engineers of the plant need to focus on the maximum localization of units and components, he believes. Lukashenko stated this during a meeting with young people at the Palace of Independence in Minsk.
We are talking about our own production of engines and gearboxes. According to the Belarusian leader, this is not an easy task, it will take some time to complete it. In addition, it is planned to open a body stamping shop at the plant in Zhodino.

The BelGee plant was opened in 2017, it specializes in small-unit assembly of cars. The company occupies an area of 118 hectares. In 2023, the plant plans to produce 60 thousand cars.
