The Center for Monitoring and Management of the Public Communication Network (CMMN) shared the successes of the Automated System for Internet Security (ASIS) at the "Spectrum-2023" forum. It operates through technical means of countering threats (TMCT) as part of the implementation of the law on the sovereign Runet.
According to Sergey Khutortsev, director of the CMMN, this year it helped block or restrict the operation of 167 VPNs and over 200 mail services that posed a threat to the stability, security, and integrity of the communication network.
ASIS was also able to block or restrict the operation of:
- more than 590 thousand information resources;
- more than 2 thousand phishing sites;
- more than 84 applications and more than 20 malware distribution centers.
In its work, the system has a "white list" that includes more than 17.5 thousand IP addresses. ASIS covers almost 100% of the traffic of telecom operators. Every second, traffic passes through it at a speed of more than 100 Tbit/sec.
