Russian NPO "Kaisant", which is engaged in producing protection against drones, has developed a new anti-drone gun that hits up to 1.5 km. It has already passed all necessary tests.
As reported by TASS, the development can suppress up to 90% of drones, which uses seven most popular frequencies. These are any commercial drones, unmanned aircraft type drones and FPV drones.
The company explained to the news agency that they are already developing new ways to fight drones flying on other frequencies, for example, Chinese ones.
"Kaisant" also has other developments in this direction, for example, "Argus-Antifuria", which suppresses and tracks drones. But all of them are quite bulky for ordinary use. The new gun, as representatives of the company assure, resembles a normal gun and weighs a little: only 5.5 kg. As tests showed, it can function without recharging for one and a half hours.
