The Russian NPO "Kaysant," which is engaged in the production of drone protection, has developed a new anti-drone gun that hits at a distance of up to 1.5 km. It has already passed all the necessary tests.
According to TASS, the development is capable of suppressing up to 90% of drones that use the seven most popular frequencies. These are any commercial drones, fixed-wing drones, and FPV drones.
The company explained to the news agency that they are already developing new options for dealing with drones flying at other frequencies, such as Chinese ones.
Kaysant also has other developments in this direction, for example,"Argus-Antifuria", which suppresses and direction finds drones. But they are all quite bulky for ordinary use. And the new gun, according to representatives of the company, looks like a regular gun and weighs little - only 5.5 kg. As tests have shown, it can work calmly without recharging for up to one and a half hours.
