The Telegram channel "Unmanned" reported the appearance of a new Unmanned Systems Center in Tula, based at the "Myasnovo" airfield.
Its construction will begin in 2024. The complex will include:
- a center for collective use of industrial equipment;
- a training center for UAV operators;
- a laboratory and research center;
- a flight test complex;
- a landing site for quadcopters and aircraft-type vehicles.
This will require 824 million rubles, of which about 70 million rubles will be spent on the development of design and estimate documentation alone.
The money will be allocated from the regional budget, but not all of it: part of the burden will also fall on the federal budget.
