The complex will facilitate the implementation of the national strategy for the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in Russia.

It will start being built in 2024. The complex will host:

  • A center for shared use of industrial equipment;
  • A center for UAV operators training;
  • A laboratory research center;
  • A flight test complex;
  • A landing pad for quadcopters and aircraft-type devices.

  This will require 824 million rubles, of which about 70 million rubles will go solely to the development of design and cost estimates.

Funds will be allocated from the regional budget, but not all: some of the burden will fall on the federal budget.
