Long-term rental of electric vehicles is entering the Russian market. From the end of November, this service will be available to residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tatarstan.
Russians are offered the domestic "Moskvich Ze" and the Chinese Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X from Geely Automobile. There is currently no information on the project website about how much a subscription to them will cost.
They promise to bring Volkswagen ID.4 and VolkswagenID.6 electric vehicles to Russia. Their subscription price is already known, it will be 180 and 200 thousand rubles, respectively. The subscription amount includes maintenance, tire fitting, OSAGO, CASCO, as well as seasonal tire kits and a place for their storage.
However, "Атомобилити" has a strict selection and verification of clients. The main conditions for renting an electric car are that the client is a citizen of the Russian Federation, is at least 23 years old and has a driver's license and more than three years of driving experience.
According to the online publication "Vedomosti", the project called "Атомобилити" belongs to "Kama". The same company that is assembling the Russian superelectrocrossover «Атом».
