The auto giant's website states that its car deliveries to Russia are temporarily not being made.

The company confirmed this in an official response to a request from "Autonews.ru". This is explained by the fact that Volvo Cars is obeying anti-Russian sanctions from the European Union.

What does this mean

Russians can no longer:

  • use the Volvo Cars mobile application;
  • connect to the TIE technical data exchange service with the brand's dealers;
  • apply the VIDA system for diagnosing car faults;
  • update the software of cars.

The company emphasized that the restrictions apply to all Volvo cars ever delivered to Russia. And even if you seek service support in another country, the owner of the car of this brand will not receive it.
