Developers from the Russian IT giant Yandex have launched a new feature in their mapping service. In Yandex Maps, a warning has been introduced for a route with a toll road section, as well as the cost of travel on it.
It is clarified that the service will show the price for travel along a specific section, not the entire road. Thus, drivers can assess expenses and choose the most optimal route.
As reported by the Yandex press office, the service also takes into account the travel time of the car. For example, if a driver schedules a route in the morning, and reaches a paid section only in the evening, the application will show the evening rate. The function is available to users of devices on fresh versions of iOS and Android operating systems.
It was previously reported that the developers of another Yandex service - Yandex Market, introduced a voice assistant function for making purchases.
