Uraltransmash has announced the successful completion of tests for its retro tram 71-431R "Dostoevsky" in St. Petersburg. According to the company's press service, the tram passed the tests for compliance with GOST successfully. The tram has received a certificate confirming its compliance with technical regulations and state standards.
The customer is pleased with the novelty: "Dostoevsky" passed both regular and maximum load tests in the conditions of the city tram network. "Dostoevsky" will soon hit the streets of the city and transport the first residents and guests of the city on the Neva.
"First Technical" has already written about St. Petersburg purchasing 54 retro trams from Uraltransmash. The three-section carriages of the 71-431 model are called "Dostoevsky", and the two-section 71-421 are "Dovlatov". Inside they look modern and are equipped with all the conveniences for passengers.
