"Uraltransmash" announced the completion of tests in St. Petersburg of the retro tram 71-431R "Dostoevsky". According to the company's press service, it has successfully passed tests for compliance with GOST. The tram received a certificate confirming its compliance with technical regulations and state standards.
The customer was satisfied with the new product: "Dostoevsky" rode both with normal and maximum load in the conditions of the city tram network. In the near future, "Dostoevsky" will take to the streets of the city and transport the first residents and guests of the city on the Neva.
"Pervy Technicheskiy" has already written that St. Petersburg is purchasing 54 retro trams from "Uraltransmash". The three-section wagons of model 71-431 are called "Dostoevsky" and the two-section wagons of model 71-421 are called "Dovlatov". Inside, they look modern and are equipped with all amenities for passengers.
