Russian developers have invented an FPV drone invisible to electronic warfare (EW) means. The MM-1 aircraft-type device is made of foam. This was announced by the TsAGIStart center, operating on the basis of Zhukovsky's TsAGI

According to a representative of the center, the drone, having maximum radio transparency, is very cheap to produce. It has no parts that could create radio interference and help detect its movement.

Only the engine and screws are made of metal in the drone. As specified in TsAGIStart, designers plan to replace the metal screws with fiberglass ones.

The invisible drone was first presented on October 6 at the TsAGI tech park in suburban Zhukovsky. The drone can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h and carry a load of up to 5 kg. A camera will be installed on it, allowing the operator to control the device from the first person (FPV drone).

Now the developers have the only one instance of MM-1. It is planned to manufacture another five experimental samples soon. TsAGI is also preparing for tests of the new drone.

It was previously reported that the company 'AVACS-GeoService' presented at the forum in Krasnoyarsk unmanned vehicle Sigma. The novelty aroused interest among the visitors of the stand.
