The head of the Android Technology Research and Production Association has given hope to domestic drone manufacturers. Evgeny Dudorov announced that by the end of this year, the company will begin mass production of electric motors for drones. Moreover, it is planned to cover the needs for motors of both manufacturers of small UAVs and rather large ones: Android Technology will produce motors with a power of 100 W to 12 kW. Dudorov himself estimates Russia's need for drone engines at hundreds of thousands of units.
However, production will start gradually. The top manager stated that the first batches of motors for drones have already been produced and delivered to customers. Based on the results of their operation, it is planned to sign contracts for the supply of several thousand motors.
Android Technology already has a line of synchronous brushless electric motors with permanent magnets for drones. It includes 21 models with a power of 200 W to 9.9 kW.
Also today, Evgeny Dudorov said that foreign countries are showing interest in the domestic Marker military robot, although it has not yet been supplied to the Russian troops.
