Deputy Chief Designer of RKK Energia and Chief Designer of the Russian Orbital Station (ROS) Vladimir Kozhevnkov said when the newest Russian spacecraft 'Oryol' - an analogue of the American Orion, will make its maiden voyage.
In 2028 - the first unmanned flight, manned - also in 2028. That is, two flights in 2028: unmanned and manned.
When creating the 'Oryol', it was planned that it would make flights to the ROS. Accordingly, the Russian orbital station will be launched a little earlier – the first module, the science and energy (NEM), will be sent into orbit at the end of 2027. The 'Oryol' will be docked to it.
The other modules of the ROS, according to Kozhevnkov, will be sent into orbit in 2028-2030. These are the nodal, airlock, basic and target modules. After they dock with the NEM, the Russian orbital station will reach its final configuration.
