The Emperium shipbuilding plant (part of Sitronics of AFC Systems) will build a new series of passenger walking vessels Moskva 2.0 on electric traction. The construction of the lead ship will begin in the fall, and it will be able to be launched in the capital by 2024.

The new electric ships will be larger than those already operating in Moscow, they will resemble the Ekocruiser series in size, but the design will be different. The length of Moskva 2.0 will be 30-35 meters, and the width - about 8 meters.

In total, the shipyard will build 25-26 ships, each costing about 300 million rubles. MashTech sources report that financing of purchases will be carried out through the State Transport Leasing Company (STLK). The STLK itself did not confirm the purchase of Moskva 2.0, but said that the company plans to expand its presence in the electric water transport segment.

In total, the STLK plans to order 260 ships at Russian shipyards by 2027, the total investment for these will amount to 231 billion rubles. Of this amount, 136 billion rubles will come from the National Well-being Fund.
