On August 14, the Army-2023 forum opens at the Patriot Exhibition Center near Moscow and at the Kubinka airfield. A lot of interesting things will be shown on it, including the first demonstration of a "live" MiG-35 fighter at Patriot.
The main event of this year will be the demonstration of the MiG-35 aircraft in close proximity to the main entrance to the exhibition pavilions.
Until now, only helicopters have been shown at Patriot from full-scale manned aviation equipment, and only non-flying and museum pieces from airplanes.
As a reminder, the first two MiG-35 prototypes adapted to the requirements of the Russian Ministry of Defense – the single-seat MiG-35S and the two-seat MiG-35UB – were manufactured at the end of 2016. During the Army-2018 forum, a contract was signed for the construction of the first batch of serial aircraft of this type, their deliveries to the customer began in 2019.
Also, as part of the Army-2023 forum, the United Aircraft Corporation will show its other aircraft.
At the Kubinka airfield, as part of the static exposition, a part of the model range of serial-produced and modernized UAC aircraft will be presented, including the Yak-130 aircraft in the new UAC Yakovlev corporate livery.
