Yandex has taken its autonomous cars to the next level of testing - now there is no driver behind the wheel. A tester sits in the passenger seat, but he cannot use the pedals or the wheel.

The tester has the ability to stop the car at the push of a button. Such a stop can be either emergency or planned. The route of the unmanned vehicles runs along the Moscow streets of Yasnogorskaya and Aivazovsky, Solovin passage, Rokotov street, and Lithuanian Boulevard.
