"Yandex" has begun testing autonomous driving technology without a test driver behind the wheel in the Yasenevo district of Moscow. This is a new stage in testing the technology that allows a car to move autonomously in the traffic flow of a large city.
The tester still has the ability to stop the car, and with just the touch of a button. Such a stop can be either emergency or planned. The route of the drones runs along the Moscow streets of Yasnogorskaya and Aivazovsky, Soloviny proezd, Rokotova street and Lithuanian Boulevard.
