Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, in an interview with TASS, spoke about the size of funds allocated for the creation of new domestic passenger airplanes - Tu-214 and MS-21 - from the National Wealth Fund.
About 280 billion rubles will be allocated for the MS-21, and for the Tu-214 - 41.8 billion [rubles].
The Minister of Finance emphasized that the funds of the National Wealth Fund are spent only on major infrastructure projects that contribute to economic development.
These are aircraft and shipbuilding, Moscow - Kazan highway (M-12), Central Transport Hub, leasing of domestic aircraft. Meaning the money from the NWF is spent on economic development, on the projects that are most important for technological independence of the country.
