"Yandex Market" announced that it has begun to cooperate with foreign stores from Asia and EAEU countries - this will allow it to expand the range further and allow Russians to acquire products from brands that were previously inaccessible in Russia.
Goods from abroad have appeared on the marketplace. Collaboration with foreign sellers will allow the platform to expand product offerings and introduce customers to new brands that were previously not available in Russia. In test mode, stores from Asia and EAEU countries selling electronics, household appliances and household items have appeared on the showcase.
The partnership of the domestic marketplace with foreign stores allows Russians to buy goods directly from manufacturers without intermediaries. As for delivery, the minimum term is 7 days (it can be longer depending on the location of the seller).
By the end of the year, "Market" plans to attract up to 1000 sellers from China, Turkey, South Korea and EAEU countries. First and foremost, the marketplace will focus on stores offering unique assortments in categories - electronics, home goods, car, beauty and health, clothing and shoes, including accessories.
Other domestic marketplaces are following the same path. For example, Ozon in July launched sales of goods from Russia in Armenia and already has its own logistics infrastructure in Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. While Wildberries, beyond Russia, operates in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Israel and Uzbekistan.
