Tinkoff Bank announced that its cards issued through the Chinese payment system Union Pay will no longer work abroad from July 21. This is due to the fact that the bank fell under blocking sanctions from the US and Canada.

Nothing changes in Russia - cards issued by Tinkoff Bank through Union Pay will continue to work as usual. However, the organization no longer intends to issue cards of the Chinese payment system - their release will cease in the near future.
