In terms of sales, June turned out to be a very good month for AvtoVAZ - the best in the current year. In June, the company sold 27,839 commercial and passenger vehicles, which is 272% higher than in June 2022. A total of 143,618 Lada cars were sold in Russia in the first six months of the year.
Lada Granta took the first place in the sales statistics for June - 16757 units sold (4 times more than in June 2022). Lada Vesta skyrocketed to second place with a result of 4258 cars. Next is NIVA Travel (3361 units sold) and NIVA Legend (3135 cars sold).
"The significant increase in production in the first half of 2023 is AvtoVAZ's contribution to the restoration and steady growth of GDP in our country. I thank our entire team, which secured this result in the most challenging conditions of sanctions pressure. In the second half of the year, AvtoVAZ plans to further increase production and sales volumes by increasing the production of LADA Vesta of various modifications, as well as relaunching LADA Largus in passenger and commercial versions in September. In the current conditions, the company confirms the plan to produce over 400 thousand cars by the end of 2023", - commented on the successful quarter by the president of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov.
