The serial production of Russian ABS systems will begin in exactly one week – on July 7. This was announced by the editor-in-chief of the "Za Rulem" publication, Maxim Kadakov.
«We are talking about the production facilities of NPP "Itelma", which are located at the "Pegas" electromechanical plant. An automated assembly line for ABS units has already been installed there. Later, ESP units will also be assembled on the same line», – Maxim Kadakov wrote in his Telegram channel.
The event, dedicated to the launch of production, will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Governor of the Kostroma Region, Sergey Sitnikov, and the head of the Kostroma administration, Alexey Smirnov.
«The most interesting question is the degree of localization of production», – added Maxim Kadakov.
