«Tinkoff announces the launch of the Central University - the first private university in Russia based on the STEM model. The Central University is a unique project for Russia, created in the interests of the country and the IT sector. In September 2023, the first two-year Data Science Academy program will be launched, the project combines the experience of the best master's programs, business practices and the product approach of Tinkoff. The bachelor's program starts in September 2024, the first enrollment in the bachelor's program will include 500 students and 55 teachers», – Tinkoff said.
«The STEM model (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), according to which the university will operate, consists of combining science, technology, engineering and mathematics to create a holistic approach to learning», - added the creators of the university.
At the first stage, the university will specialize in mathematics and computer science.
