The head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, Vladislav Ovchinsky, announced that the Moscow company MEL has developed a new line of high-speed elevators.
«MEL has developed two models of high-speed elevators. The new products differ in design and dimensions – their height reaches 2.2 meters, and in lifting capacity – one of the updated cabins will be able to carry up to 2 tons. It is planned that more than 500 units of such products will be produced annually», – said the head of the department, Vladislav Ovchinsky.
According to the Telegram channel «Black Monday», the «Cosmos» cabin is designed for the simultaneous transportation of up to 13 people with a speed of 2.5 m per second. Customers are offered 10 finishing options in the colors of the Solar System objects. The «Shirota» elevator is ready to transport up to 20 passengers. The model provides 5 finishing options.
Since 2017, MEL has been part of the PIK group of companies, and its elevators are installed in the developer's new residential complexes.
