The first center in Russia for the maintenance and repair of electronic components of civil airliners has opened at the technology park of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute by the Irkut Corporation (part of the UAC of Rostec). The laboratory will carry out maintenance and repair of electronic components of the SSJ-100 aircraft – previously, such work was carried out abroad.
«The introduction of the laboratory into operation will significantly expand the competencies for servicing Russian SSJ-100 aircraft, as well as promising MC-21 and SSJ-NEW. Irkut specialists will carry out maintenance and repair of flight and navigation, radio communication, lighting and household equipment, as well as autopilot, crew and flight attendant consoles, flight information indication and recording systems and other electronic components of the aircraft», – Rostec reports.
