Based on the technology park of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute, the Irkut Corporation (part of the Rostec OAK) opened the first center in Russia for the maintenance and repair of electronic components of civilian airliner systems. Maintenance and repair of electronic components of the SSJ-100 aircraft will be carried out within the laboratory - previously such work was carried out abroad.
"The commissioning of the laboratory will significantly expand the competencies in the maintenance of Russian SSJ-100 aircraft, as well as promising MC-21 and SSJ-NEW. Irkut specialists will perform maintenance and repair of flight navigation, radio communication, lighting and domestic equipment, as well as autopilot, crew consoles and flight attendants, flight information display and registration systems and other electronic components of the aircraft", - reports "Rostec".
