«As of today, we do not have any significant problems with spare parts. Logistics have become longer, but we do not see any problems yet», – said Vitaly Savelyev.

«Usually, spare parts are delivered from one day to two weeks, that is, we receive an imported spare part in approximately this range, so that the aircraft does not stand idle. This was practiced everywhere, including abroad: you can remove a similar spare part from another aircraft and install it on this aircraft, and when the spare part that we ordered arrives, it is installed on the aircraft from which we removed it. This practice existed, exists, and there is nothing wrong with it. Currently, the aircraft are partially disassembled. Partially, I emphasize again. They will be restored in the near future, seven pieces. Seven pieces out of 1162», – explained Savelyev.

The Minister added that Russian aviation technical companies can simultaneously repair 74 narrow-body and 14 wide-body aircraft, and this is sufficient to maintain the current fleet.
