Sitronics Group, which is part of the AFC "System", has demonstrated the serial passenger double-decker electric catamaran "Ecocruiser 2". The vessel was built at the Emperium shipyard, and it will be used on cruise routes along the Volga River.

"Ecocruiser 2" can accommodate 130 passengers. The length of the catamaran is 31 meters, and the width is just over 10 meters. The electric motors are powered by two traction batteries with a capacity of 400 kWh each. The catamaran can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h, and the range in cruise mode is up to 180 kilometers. Ecocruiser is the first serial project of electric propulsion vessels in Russia.
