Electric catamaran "Ekokhod 2" presented in Russia, it will sail on the Volga

"Ekokhod 2" is designed for 130 passengers, range up to 180 km

Sitronics Group, part of AFC Sistema, has presented the serial two-deck passenger electric catamaran "Ekokhod 2" model Ecocruiser. The vessel was built at the Emperium shipyard and will be used on sightseeing routes along the Volga.

"Ekokhod 2" is designed for 130 passengers. The catamaran is 31 meters long and just over 10 meters wide. The electric motors are powered by two traction batteries with a capacity of 400 kWh each. The catamaran is capable of speeds up to 40 km/h, and a range in cruising mode of up to 180 kilometers. Ecocruiser is the first serial project of electric vessels in Russia.
