A department of RZD - "RZD Logistics" - and Fesco have signed an agreement on cooperation in creating a joint service RailJet for expedited delivery of goods from China. Goods will be transported on the Moscow - Manchuria - Moscow route.

"RailJet will be relevant for customers from high-tech industries and companies engaged in cross-border online commerce. This is a service for goods sensitive to delivery times, which are usually transported by air, as well as devices containing lithium-ion batteries, which are predominantly transported by sea", - RZD reported. The company described the main advantages of the new service. These are delivery speed (up to five days), regular departures (twice a week), as well as optimal transportation cost and maximum guarantee of cargo safety.

"The market of transport and logistics services has undergone serious changes, and it is important to offer cargo owners a worthy alternative to what has ceased to work effectively. The fundamentally new RailJet service will become an alternative to air cargo transportation in terms of delivery time and will be significantly more beneficial for shippers in terms of cost. In the conditions of sanction pressure, such a logistics product will be in demand", - said Dmitry Murev, General Director of RZD Logistics JSC.
