AvtoVAZ has prepared a surprise: the company presented an extended version of the Lada Vesta NG – the car has already been demonstrated to the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, and a full-fledged premiere should take place in two weeks at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
In fact, AvtoVAZ already had a long (25 cm longer than usual) Vesta (it was called Signature), but as the editor-in-chief of the publication "Behind the Wheel" Maxim Kadakov writes, the car shown now is "a completely new car, it was assembled literally the day before."
«Elegant interior – with white and cream leather. With a premium audio system – this is evident from the different door trim with large grilles and high-frequency speakers near the mirrors. And – a two-tone steering wheel!», - writes Maxim Kadakov.
According to the expert, the car shown is one of the first on which the combination of the VAZ 1.8 engine and the variator has been worked out. According to preliminary data, the extended Lada Vesta NG will not go into series production until 2025.
