The Instrument Engineering Design Bureau (KPb, part of the Rostec's High Precision Systems holding) has announced the test of the upgraded missile system 'Hermes' in Russia.

"The 'Hermes' complex is being tested. The decision on delivery will be made based on the test results. The upgrade works on the 'Hermes' complex are ongoing taking into account changes in the environment and tasks", – KPb reported.

'Hermes' is designed for aiming at a distance of up to 100 kilometers at tanks, armored vehicles, structures, surface targets, and slow-speed aircrafts. The basic version missile reaches a speed of up to 1.3 km/s and carries a shrapnel-HE warhead weighing 28 kg. 'Hermes' can be installed on any medium or heavy-duty vehicle chassis.
