Mass production of 2C25M should begin soon

The "Kurganmashzavod" announced that the latest self-propelled anti-tank guns 2C25M may appear in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as early as next year.

«If the relevant decisions are made by the Ministry of Defense of Russia, deliveries of vehicles to the Armed Forces may begin in 2024», the company said and added that the design documentation is currently being adjusted before the launch of mass production.

2С25М is built on the basis of the self-propelled anti-tank gun 2С25 "Sprut-SD" and is unified with the BMD-4M airborne combat vehicle. State tests of 2С25М were successfully completed in August 2022. From the characteristics of 2С25М: combat weight 18 tons, maximum speed - up to 70 km/h on land and up to 10 km/h on water. The cluster installation of guided missiles placed on it allows you to hit all modern main battle tanks in the world.
