At "Kurganmashzavod" they reported that the latest self-propelled anti-tank guns 2C25M may appear in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as early as next year.

"With the adoption of appropriate decisions by the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the delivery of machines to the Armed Forces could begin in 2024." - said the company and added that the design documentation is currently being adjusted before the mass production start.

2С25М is built on the basis of the self-propelled anti-tank gun 2С25 «Sprut-SD» and is unified with airborne combat vehicle BMD-4M. State tests of 2С25М were successfully completed in August 2022. From the characteristics of 2С25М: combat mass 18 tons, maximum speed - up to 70 km/h on land and up to 10 km/h on water. The missile system placed on it allows to hit all modern main tanks of the world.
