According to the Telegram channel "Black Monday", the first container train to India has departed from Chelyabinsk. It will follow the "North - South" corridor through Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to one of the Iranian ports, and from there by sea to India. Non-ferrous metals and food products were sent from Russia in containers.
It is noted that the same routes through Iranian ports will make it possible to send goods to Pakistan, the UAE and Saudi Arabia cheaply and without sanctions risks.
Earlier it was reported that Russia and Iran are building a trade route circumventing Western sanctions. The 3,000 km long route will consist of river and rail routes through the Volga, Azov and Caspian Seas. The countries are investing more than $20 billion to facilitate the movement of goods by water and rail.
