The Director for the development of the Chinese car brand SWM, Evgeniy Zavyalov talked about plans to expand the SWM model range in Russia in 2024-2025. However, specific models will be selected based on trends in the Russian car market.

The first SWM cars will go on sale in Russia on May 31 - these will be mid-sized crossovers SWM G01 and SWM G01F, equipped with one and a half liter engines and robotic gearboxes. By the end of the summer, the larger SWM G05 Pro crossover will go on sale.

The production of all three models is already underway at the Kaliningrad factory 'Avtotor'. The brand plans to sell 2,000 cars a month in Russia. According to Evgeniy Zavyalov, there are no restrictions on the number of cars produced: if there is demand, more cars will be supplied to dealers.

We recall that the exclusive distributor of the SWM brand in Russia is Obukhov Group. The company has already signed more than 40 dealer agreements in all major cities of Russia, by the end of 2023 the SWM dealer network will expand to 50 centers.
