Last spring, the Binance crypto exchange prohibited Russians from holding assets worth more than 10,000 euros in their accounts – this was done as part of the fifth package of EU sanctions. And now, a year later, this ban has been lifted. "The specified limit is no longer in place. There are no restrictions," Binance said.
At the same time, representatives of the crypto exchange noted that other restrictions still continue to apply. For example, Russian citizens are still prohibited from buying and selling euros and dollars on the Binance P2P platform.
