The head of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation reported that the department might launch a pilot project on concluding contracts with operators using QR-codes in the summer of the current year.
"We want to test the pilot with operators in the summer. It will be very simple. I come, take a photo of the QR code, upload the electronic contract into the application. The same contains my passport data. There, I sign the contract with an electronic signature, the "State Key"", — said Shadaev. He added that everything necessary for the implementation of the pilot is available. The Ministry of Digital Development believes that this approach will allow "to get rid of paper".
