The most dangerous weapon of Russia, according to the American military magazine Military Watch, is the modernized frigate of project 1155M (Marshal Shaposhnikov) equipped with Zircon hypersonic missiles.

"Despite the fact that the frigate of the 1155M project was not originally designed for anti-ship purposes, thanks to Zircon alone, it can neutralize the entire surface strike group without the need to use other weapons", notes Military Watch.

The article mentions that since 2017, the ship has been significantly improved, and this affected not only the weapon, but also, for example, electronics. Including Zircon in the arsenal was called the most thoughtful innovation.

Marshal Shaposhnikov was launched on December 27, 1984, and put into operation on February 2, 1986. The armament includes two Dagger missile defense systems (64 SAM).
