An analog of the foreign resource Downdetecor has appeared in Russia. It is called «Failure Monitoring» and is located on the website of the Center for Monitoring and Management of the Public Communication Network (TsMU SSOP).
«The Center for Monitoring and Management of the Public Communication Network has launched a public user portal. The "Failure Monitoring" service has been launched on the site. It was created as an alternative to the foreign resource downdetector.com, which stopped analyzing Russian Internet resources after the start of the SMO», – said the Main Radio Frequency Center (GRChTs).
«Failure Monitoring» tracks the status of resources based on user reports. If complaints arise from users, TsMU SSOP specialists will check the problem and find out what it is connected with. «Upon receiving a large number of reports of failures, the Center's specialists will join in solving the problem together with telecom operators and service owners», – said the GRChTs.
