The Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, on behalf of the Ministry of Defense, is working on creating an electronic military registration register. According to the head of the department, Maksut Shadaev, the launch of the digital register will take place no earlier than the start of the next autumn conscription for military service.
«The exact launch dates of the register will be determined after the adoption of the law, but, most likely, it will be possible to launch it in full no earlier than the start of the next autumn conscription for military service», - wrote Maksut Shadaev.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Development explained that with the introduction of the register, citizens are relieved of the obligation to inform military registration and enlistment offices about changes, in particular, their marital status, registration, place of work and education.
