The "Orlan-10E" received a gyro-stabilized platform equipped with an optoelectronic system operating in the infrared range. It detects thermal signatures of enemy military equipment.

Depending on the configuration, the UAV is equipped with various modules, including a laser transmitter. It probably serves for aiming and measuring the distance to the target.

Characteristics of "Orlan-10E":

  • Wingspan — up to 3.8 m
  • Flight range — up to 120 km with radio channel support, up to 500 km — in autonomous mode
  • Flight time — up to 10 hours
  • Altitude — 5000 m
The technical characteristics and inexpensive maintenance of the "Orlan-10E" make it suitable for developing countries seeking to improve their arsenals with effective and economical drones.
