Fighters of the Special Rapid Response Unit (SOBR) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus are being trained in case of a likely escalation in the area of the Suwalki Corridor and on the border with the Baltic countries. The arsenal of Belarusian special forces includes many examples of Russian equipment and weapons. This was pointed out by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.
Footage of combat training and the daily routine of employees of the SOBR of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus testify to the readiness of the detachment for an escalation of the conflict between NATO and the Union State.
Damantsev drew attention to the fact that the rapid response unit is armed with 82-mm mortars 2B14 "Podnos", anti-tank missile systems (ATGM) "Konkurs-M" and "Fagot", ORSIS T-5000M rifles, a wide selection of FPV drones and UAVs for optoelectronic reconnaissance of Russian design.
