In large quantities, Russian weapons are represented in the armored units of the Iranian ground forces. We are talking only about Soviet and post-Soviet vehicles from their former USSR, among them the most massive modern Iranian tank - T-72: 480 units in the T-72S modification (export version of the T-72B), there is a local military-industrial complex-developed modernization option "Karrar".
