The AGS-30 automatic grenade launcher system (developed by JSC Instrument Design Bureau) increases the firepower and mobility of a soldier on the battlefield. This was stated in the press service of Rosoboronexport (Russia's only arms export organization).
AGS-30 is designed for fire support:
- infantry units
- airborne units
- special units
Among the advantages of the grenade launcher are its light weight, increased firing range and stable free-bolt recoil system. AGS-30 is"light, powerful and reliable."
A wide range of modern fragmentation-type ammunition with improved ballistics expands the range of combat missions to be solved.
