The penetration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools into Sber's operations has tripled since August 2026, reaching 100%. Now, every engineer uses them daily in their work, the financial conglomerate's press service reported.
The monthly consumption of tokens for generative development in August amounted to 9 trillion. On average, one developer uses over 22 million tokens in 30 days.
Currently, development teams are transitioning to the multi-agent application for managing the development lifecycle, GigaCode Desktop. Approximately 4,000 people use it daily. AI agents help save time on information retrieval, analytics, and report preparation, Sber explained.
When working with complex business processes, GigaCode Desktop shifts work from individual dialogues to managing a group of autonomous agents. The platform accelerates teamwork.
