The Russian company YADRO presented the BOREY containerized data center, which allows servers and network equipment to be placed without building a separate data center facility. According to the company, after delivery, the prepared module can be launched and put into operation within one working day.

The containerized data center format is designed, among other things, for enterprises, construction and logistics sites, as well as remote areas where the construction of a full-fledged data center is difficult or economically unfeasible.
Inside BOREY, server racks, data storage systems, network equipment, power supply, and cooling are located. Depending on the configuration, there are from two to eight 42U racks. Production and assembly take from eight to ten weeks, depending on the chosen execution.
Containerized data centers are also proposed for data backup
For example, a company can place its main computing infrastructure at one site, and data copies and backup capacities at another. If the main center becomes unavailable, the backup site can be used to restore IT system operations.
If necessary, several modules can be combined into a complex with a common engineering and IT infrastructure. The containers also allow for multi-tier installation. This makes it possible to increase computing power as needs grow, without immediately creating a large reserve of infrastructure, according to the statement.
In transport position, the module is designed as a standard ISO container, without protruding elements and technological openings. According to YADRO, it is certified for transportation by road, rail, and sea. It can be transported on public roads without special permits or escort.
The basic configuration claims an ambient temperature range from minus 45 to plus 45 °C. Optionally, the lower limit can be extended to minus 60 °C. Inside, there are power supply and cooling systems, monitoring, remote control, access control, video surveillance, and automatic gas fire suppression systems.
