Moscow authorities have launched mandatory testing for couriers in the Integrated Information System "Taxi Operation Analytics" (KIS ART — the Moscow Department of Transport's platform for controlling taxi and courier services) on their knowledge of traffic rules. This was announced by the head of the department, Maxim Liksutov.

According to Liksutov, over 135,000 couriers work in Moscow. To make deliveries safe, service employees must pass an exam. Those who do not pass the test will not be allowed to work starting October 15.
Couriers must know safe driving rules, including requirements for speed limits, cycling, and personal mobility devices (PMDs). In addition, they will be tested on their knowledge of delivery rules and service ethics.
The exam will be considered passed if the test taker answers at least 80% of the questions correctly. The result will immediately appear in the courier's personal account and will be valid for 1 year.
MADI and State Traffic Inspectorate employees regularly conduct inspections during which traffic rule violations by couriers are identified, Liksutov noted. Passing the mandatory test will confirm that delivery service employees are well aware of the rules and understand their responsibility to pedestrians, he concluded.
