MTS will launch the rapidly deployable multifunctional mast MFO-15 with a diesel generator and lithium batteries on the Russian market. The equipment will provide mobile communication to remote and sparsely populated areas where there is no possibility to connect to power grids. This was reported by the press service of the telecommunications company.

Replicating the solution will provide uninterrupted communication for transport workers and passengers on roads and railways, builders, employees of mining enterprises, and residents of shift settlements in the Far East, Siberia, and the Far North regions.
Alexey Maslyankin, Head of MTS Network Development Directorate

The base station can also be used to create dedicated Private LTE/5G technological networks at large industrial enterprises.

MFO-15 will be supplied with a climate cabinet with lithium batteries and a diesel generator. It can be assembled in approximately 3 hours using a crane manipulator. The equipment height varies between 21.7-24 m depending on the wind load.

The diesel generator, on a single refueling, will ensure the station's operation for 12 days without external power supply. MFO-15 can be produced in various configurations, the press service concluded.
