Construction of two large aviation facilities continues at Ramenskoye airfield in Moscow Oblast. According to fresh satellite images, one object already measures about 100×230 meters with a height of up to 33 meters, the second — approximately 90×220 meters. The images were published by the analytical group AviVector.

The first structure consists of three sections, each about 77 meters wide. An annex measuring approximately 17×220×8 meters is also being built next to it. The construction site is connected by road to the M. M. Gromov Flight Research Institute.
Construction on this site was first noticed in March 2026. At that time, the dimensions of the structures being erected were estimated at approximately 110×77 meters, and the work was in its initial stages. Now the scale of the objects has significantly increased.

Ramenskoye is used as a testing ground for various aircraft. Structures associated with Tupolev operate here, and Tu-160, Tu-95MS, and Tu-22M3 have previously been seen at the airfield. Therefore, large buildings could theoretically be used for work with heavy aircraft, including testing, maintenance, or modernization.
The large dimensions suggest the use of hangars for work with heavy aircraft, including maintenance or modernization. There is also another version. The construction is being carried out next to the exhibition infrastructure that was used for the MAKS International Aviation and Space Salon. Therefore, the new buildings may be related not only to testing activities but also to the exhibition complex.
