The Minsk Automobile Plant will supply 247 Class C medical ambulances manufactured by MAZ-Kupava to Nicaragua. The document was signed by Laureano Ortega Murillo, Minister-Advisor to the Co-Presidents for Investment and Trade, and Valery Ivankovich, MAZ General Director.

Specifically to meet the customer's requirements, the new Class C ambulances will be manufactured on an all-wheel drive MAZ chassis. This is a continuation of cooperation between the two countries: MAZ has previously supplied 370 units of cargo and special equipment to Nicaragua, which has proven its quality and reliability.
An all-wheel drive chassis is critically important for Nicaragua with its mountainous terrain and off-road sections. Class C vehicles are reanimobiles with a full set of equipment for intensive care, including ventilators, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and oxygen delivery systems.
The batch of 247 units will be one of the largest deliveries of Belarusian equipment to Latin America.
