The share of domestically produced aircraft in the fleet of Russian air carriers should reach 37% by 2029. This follows from the passport of the state program "Development of the Aviation Industry".
In 2026, the indicator is planned at 20%. In 2027, it should increase to 25%, in 2028 — to 30%, and by 2029 — to 37%.
The share of Russian-made helicopters in the fleet of the largest air carriers of the Russian Federation in 2028 should be 89.4%. In 2026, the indicator is planned at 88.5%, in 2027 — 88.7%, in 2028 — 89%.
What Russian aircraft have already been developed or are under development
The main civil aircraft construction programs are focused on several models. MS-21-310 — a medium-haul airliner with a capacity of up to 211 passengers with PD-14 engines. SJ-100 — an import-substituted version of the Superjet with a PD-8 engine and Russian onboard systems. Il-114-300 — a turboprop regional aircraft with 68 seats. Tu-214 — a medium-haul airliner, which is planned to be produced up to 20 aircraft per year. LMS-901 Baikal — a light multi-purpose aircraft with 9 seats, a replacement for An-2.
